NINJA BACHELOR PARTY (1991)
With nothing to do with a bachelor party but plenty to do with ninjas, it is the story of loserly Robitussin addict Clarence Mumford's quest to be a ninja warrior. Not everyone will understand the finer points of some of the humor, but the hilarious voice-overs and the practice of recycling scenes are undeniably funny. The climactic fight scene is great fun, with plenty of poorly-executed slapstick and general ridiculousness. Ninja Bachelor Party is a joke all the way through, including the credits. At half an hour long, you can't afford not to try it out.

BILL HICKS ON AUSTIN PUBLIC ACCESS
Spend 80 personal minutes with the man who could very well be the greatest social commentato r of our day. Bill takes calls from viewers and answers questions. Recorded @ the original broadcast October 24th 1993, this is believed to be Bill's last video taped interview.

BILL HICKS ON THE SEVENTH DAY IN WACO
"On March 8th 1993, Bill flew to Austin and rented a car. I packed all my camera stuff and we drove 2 hours north to Waco. We hoped to film David Koresh and his compound, 7 days after the bloody siege. Stopped by DPS officers, we quickly found a way around them." - Kevin Booth

The Sane Man Performance (1989)
Bill Hicks at his most un-PC, offensive and anarchic best. Bill's performance is unpredictable, beyond edgy and so focused you have to see it to believe it. Sane Man was one of many collaborative efforts between comedian Bill Hicks & director Kevin Booth and served as a demo to get Bill his first HBO special, but many Hicks aficionados agree that Sane Man is the BEST HICKS performance ever captured on camera

American: The Bill Hicks Story will be shown at the South by Southwest festival in Austin Texas on March 15th and March 20th.

From the official American: The Bill Hicks Story site:

We are extremely proud to announce that AMERICAN The Bill Hicks Story has been invited to hold its North American premiere at SXSW!

Bill has a very strong cult following in the US, but nowhere more so than Austin, and as British filmmakers, we are very excited to be taking the story of one of America’s most important cultural icons back to his homeland.

The SXSW festival is one of America’s leading festivals, and runs from the 12th – 20th March. We are pleased to be mentioned in their opening paragraph, alongside Jean-Pierre Jeunet’s Micmacs, Michel Gondry’s The Thorn in the Heart, and Steven Soderbergh’s And Everything Is Going Fine.
